An Australian gaming technologies firm has inked a deal that will see its live streams and horse racing data used by a British iGaming platform developer.

World Casino Directory reports that BetMakers Technology has signed a deal with Pronet Gaming that will see the Sydney-listed innovator to annual furnish its latest partner, Pronet Gamin, with information on approximately 250,000 races taking place in more than 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and the United States.

The source of the news detailed that this new alliance will also involve the provision of data on harness racing and greyhound events, in addition, to live streams from as many as 2500 races every week.

BetMakers, headquartered in Newcastle, New South Wales, reportedly disclosed that its real-time horse racing coverage can be used with a range of traditional fixed odds and parimutuel sports betting markets, alongside more exotic tote derivatives.

The firm purportedly explained that its advances will enable Pronet Gaming to increase the diversity of its offering as it endeavors to grow its global presence, including within emerging markets in Africa and Asia, which have been expanding rapidly due to the continuing rollout of advanced 5G mobile technologies.

BetMakers’ chief operating officer Jake Henson said that Pronet is now permitted to utilise his firm’s SameRaceMultis innovation so as to offer clients a “plethora of single-event accumulator bets” as well as “dynamic race card content and expanded racing form”.

“We are pleased to have advanced our integration with Pronet Gaming to the point where we can now launch a world-class book across its global network of platform clients,” Mr Henson said.

Pronet Gaming sportsbook and trading director Thomas Molloy said his company recently established a presence in Cameroon via an alliance with local betting firm Winnerbet.

He also declared that this partnership with BetMakers has seen clients migrate onto his company’s platform while integrating its complete range of online and retail solutions.

“We look forward to working with the team at BetMakers Technology Group to enter the horse racing market by offering an unparalleled global racing product,” Mr Molloy said.

“Here at Pronet Gaming, our strategy is to give our clients a world-class product offering and by partnering with BetMakers Technology as we continue to expose our client base to the best the industry has to offer.”

BetMakers forges ahead with US quest

An Australian gaming technologies and software firm has announced it has raised about $38.28 million via a public placement, to help it acquire the racing and digital assets of British pools betting innovator Sportech.

World Casino Directory reported in January that the Sydney-listed BetMakers Technology Group Limited detailed the cash was raised after it offered more than 83 million shares to sophisticated and institutional investors individually priced at around $0.46.

The Australian supplier explained it is now hopeful of being able to bring in an additional $7.64 million courtesy of a share purchase plan with all of these funds subsequently going towards its procurement of Sportech’s sports betting assets.

The Newcastle-headquartered company inked the deal, costing $42.86 million in December 2020.

The company declared it hopes the finished arrangement will allow it to drive rapid United States expansion and fixed odds opportunity, grow its customer base in Europe, Asia and North America and establish itself “as a global leader in business-to-business wagering and data technology for racing.”

BetMakers said it has begun negotiations of commercial terms with several operators, but stopped short of providing details concerning the potential worth of these deals even as it offered an assurance that it would “notify the market of such transactions in due course in accordance with its continuous disclosure obligations.”
